Expanding on the IKOB group exhibition „Redrawing the Lines“, participating artists Matei Bejenaru and Irina Botea Bucan reflect on the intentions behind their works, provide insight into their artistic process and share sonic excerpts from video and sound pieces. Themes include the politics of language, how to embrace the unexpected, notions of (national) identity and community.

“Redrawing the Lines” ran at IKOB from 11.10.2022 – 08.01.2023 and included works by Matei Bejenaru, Irina Botea Bucan, Dani Ghercă. The exhibition was curated by Daniella Géo in collaboration with SwitchLab, Bucharest and co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund of Romania.
